Nourin C S, born in 1998 in Kerala, India, is a practising artist currently pursuing a Master's degree in Photography Design at the National Institute of Design in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. With a background in Fine Arts, Nourin's passion for art and creativity has been nurtured since her upbringing in the vibrant microcosm of Kochi.

Her artistic focus is exploring myths, history, oral histories, folklore, and the complexities of identity and belonging. Nourin's approach involves actively engaging with her memories and experiences and of others to gain deeper insights into the human condition. 

In addition to her artistic pursuits, Nourin has a keen interest in archival systems, histories, and the intricate relationship between ecology and natural history. These varied interests likely inform her artistic practice, enabling her to examine the construction and preservation of narratives across time critically. Through a multidisciplinary approach and inquisitive nature, she aspires to create artwork that challenges preconceived notions, provokes thought, and fosters a deeper appreciation for the complexity of human existence.
